BASIS INFOS: 

For people who do not own their own equipment (yet), we provide telemark skis and telemark boots. But you should bring your own clothing and polls . In recent years, our material has always served everyone, but we want to point out that we can not guarantee that we have Rent and Test material in the appropriate size for all participants..

Our workshops with the trainers and telemark instructors of the German Ski Federation (German: DSV) are offered in all skill levels. From the beginner to the piste skiers and freeriders. For enthusiastic fans of the free heel, there is even a special treat: You can do the DSV scholarship course. Entitled to participate in an examination, screening on course for telemark training (basic or instructor) in the DSV. PROGRAM:

Wednesday
We meet on Wednesday night at 19.00 clock in the Walserhaus. There, you can register and try on your new event jackets. Likewise, you can book you into the various groups of our workshops. In addition,the brewery Meckatzer will supply us with Allgäu-Texan beer. Per application, there is one free beer.

Thursday
The event office is open from 8.15 and is located in the base station of Kanzelwandbahn. You can find it right after the entrance (south side) on the right side. The TEX-WORKSHOPS start at 9:30 on the top station of the Kanzelwandbahn. Our Texan trainers will await you with signs so that you may find the right spots. Note for all Texas newbies: Also you start from there. After the first few hours in the snow a lunch takes place in each flock. The noon lunch is included on Thursday and Friday in the package price!
Thursday night we will meet again at 19:00 at the base station of Kanzelwandbahn. In helicopters we will be hovering gen peak. The dinner will take place at the Panorama Restaurant at nearly 2,000 meters. Up there is the day in a wonderful atmosphere in review. This evening the team offers you with boss Harry a variety of specialties on Texas abundantly covered buffets.

Friday

As on Thursday, the event office is open again from 8.15.

The TEX-WORKSHOPS start as the previous day at 9.30 at the top station of the Kanzelwandbahn. Similarly, there is the mandatory lunch for all participants.

A special Friday night awaits us. With live music, we will experience a true Texas evening. Juicy grilled steaks, Meckatzer beers, Texas mulled wine, open fires, we will see in the mini-town Texas. A highlight will be the rodeo contest. Here the challenge will be to remain on the wild cow as long as possible, swing the lasso etc. And for the tired Telemarkers we have chilling on the hay and straw bales - just TEXAS Live.

 

Saturday

Saturday is the Day of Race "! It’s about the title of the German Telemark Championship 2010. We would appreciate it if possibly all Texans would embark on the hunt for the trophy. All further details can be found under the menu Race, or the day of the race at the spot.

In addition, we also have decided to offer workshops on Saturday. Thus, all participants have the opportunity to participate in weekend trips with our trainers and telemark instructors.

The great Texas Poker takes place on Saturday night at the Sweet Life. The Sweet Life is THE disco in the valley and is located at the casino. There a sensational TEXAS BAND will provide the best entertainment on our last evening together at the Telemarkfestival 2010. The Wormup presents the awards ceremony for the German Telemark Championships 2010. In the lobby the winners will be honored duly. This year, there are very interesting prizes for the winners.

 

Sunday

Whatever you want .... again Sunday. Probably, we will spend Sunday again at the Walmendinger horn.
 Wer an diesem Tag dort keine Telemarklatten unter den Füßen hat, wird sich einsam vorkommen. Cruisen auf den Pisten des Horns können wir vor, zwischen und nach dem Brunch, welches uns auf dem Sonnendeck des Gipfelrestaurants am Walmendingerhorn geboten wird. Der Last Run startet gegen 13.00 Uhr auf der Piste 1a kurz nach der Unterquerung der Doppelsesselbahn. Über 300 Telemarker werden wie ein riesige Herde Mustangs die letzte gemeinsame Abfahrt des Tages nehmen.
