FIS - INTERNATIONAL GERMAN TELEMARKCHAMPIONSHIPS 2012
Again participating in 2012:The current Vice World Champion Tobias Müller, he is also a multiplemedal winner at the2011 FIS Junior World Championships in Hafjell (NOR). Completing the successful team at the JuniorChampions and JoanBenedict Holzmann Holzmann of the Germannational team (DSV Telemark Team).
The International German Telemark Championships take place at the racetrack Zwehrenalpe. On Saturday, the 24th March 2012, the riders start on the track at the "Zweiländerbahn". The start at 1944 m, the finish at 1599 m.The race starts just below the top station Kanzelwandbahn. After the departure of Kanzelwandbahn the start of the race course 2012 is only a few meters north (onthe top picture to the right into the slope)
The Race:
The elite and masterclasses open up the
race. They do the first run and second immediately
afterwards.The start of the followingclasses is slightlyshifted downwards. This shortens the course length and leaves out the steep start. The entrance to the new start is easy to get to over the normal slope. Thus the new course is manageable for all participants.
Further starting order: children, youth and athletes of the l fun class each do only one run
Please start withprotecting gear: All participantsare advised to wear a helmet. Knee pads are also very beneficial.
